Karting and Tuition For Children Aged 8+

Junior karting is ideal for children aged 8 years or older looking to get started in karting or progress their racing skills. All equipment is provided, including safety wear and BIZ Evo Cadet karts powered by a 160cc Honda engine. We give tuition to new drivers to ensure they drive safely and correctly.

Our karts have timing equipment attached. This enables us to provide you with a print out of your lap times which you can take home. You can then compare your progress as you improve your karting skills.

Drivers must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

What You Do on the Day

• Safety briefing: This covers how to use the karts, how to drive safely and the track rules.
• Tuition: You're shown the basics on how to drive a kart, this is usually a one-on-one tuition. You'll have hands-on lessons in how to:
  1. Accelerate safely
  2. Brake safely
  3. Steer/turn the kart safely
  You then follow an instructor for a couple of laps to learn the track's braking and turn-in points.
• 15 minutes practice session: You drive around the track putting in to practice what you've learnt. The parent/guardian may also take part (using our Pro Karts) in this session. When booking, please let us know if a parent/guardian also wants to take part in the Practice session.
